Ethical Diamonds

We work only with lab grown diamonds. Here is exactly what that means — and what it does not mean.

Why We Chose Lab Grown

A mined diamond arrives with a history you cannot fully verify. A lab grown diamond arrives with a certificate stating where it came from. That was the deciding factor for us: not a marketing angle, but a supply chain we can actually stand behind and explain to you honestly.

What We Can Tell You Honestly
Specific claims we are able to back up — not vague promises.
Origin

Grown, Not Mined

Every stone we set is grown in a laboratory. No mining, no displaced earth, no uncertainty about which mine or which country a stone passed through.

Proof

Independently Certified

Origin is not something we ask you to take on trust. Every centre stone is graded by an independent laboratory, and the report states clearly that it is lab grown.

Identical

A Real Diamond

Chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond — same carbon structure, same 10 on the Mohs scale, same fire. It is not a simulant or a substitute.

People

Our Workshop

Our jewelry is made in our own atelier in Surat, India, by artisans we know and work with directly — not through anonymous subcontracting.

What We Won't Claim
Honesty is worth more than a green badge.
  • We won't call ourselves carbon neutral. Growing diamonds takes considerable energy. It is a smaller footprint than mining, but it is not zero, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
  • We won't claim recycled metals we don't use. If and when we move to certified recycled gold, we will say so here, with the certification to prove it.
  • We won't use "eco-friendly" as a slogan. Every claim on this page is specific enough for you to check.
The Honest Comparison
Lab grown versus mined, without the marketing.
  • Land — mining moves enormous quantities of earth for a single carat. Growing does not.
  • Traceability — a lab grown stone's origin is documented from the start. A mined stone's journey often is not.
  • Energy — growing diamonds is energy-intensive. The footprint depends heavily on the electricity used to do it.
  • Price — typically 60–80% less than a mined stone of equal grade — which usually means a better cut, or a larger stone, for the same money.
  • Resale — lab grown diamonds hold less resale value than mined ones. Buy a diamond to wear, not as an investment.
