Wedding Bands Guide

Designed by expert jewellers and crafted with IGI certified lab grown diamonds — the perfect band to symbolise a lifetime of commitment.

Designed for a Lifetime

Choosing a wedding band is a deeply personal decision — and unlike an engagement ring, it is one you will wear every single day for decades. Every RINOVA band is made in solid gold or platinum and built to survive that, comfortably.

Wedding Band Styles
Thoughtfully crafted for every wearer, in solid gold and platinum with IGI certified lab grown diamonds.

Plain Metal Bands

Timeless simplicity and exceptional durability, in white, yellow and rose gold or platinum — ideal for everyday wear, and beautiful on their own or alongside an engagement ring.

Popular for: minimalists, comfort-fit lovers, hands-on work

Diamond Wedding Bands

Brilliance with refined craftsmanship. From subtle channel-set diamonds to pavé and shared-prong styles, these designs add sparkle without compromising comfort or durability.

Popular for: elegant everyday wear, pairing with an engagement ring

Eternity Bands

Diamonds encircling the entire band, symbolising everlasting love. Often chosen as anniversary gifts or worn alongside an engagement ring for added brilliance.

Important: full eternity bands cannot be resized — get the fit right first time

Stackable Bands

Slim bands designed to be layered — two, three or more together, in mixed metals or matching sets. A way to keep adding to the story over the years.

Popular for: anniversaries, births, building a personal stack

Anniversary Bands

Designed to celebrate meaningful milestones with elevated diamond detailing — worn alone or alongside existing wedding bands to add dimension and brilliance.

Popular for: milestone anniversaries, upgrading an existing stack

Expert Tip: Same Metal, Same Finger

If the wedding band and engagement ring sit together on the same finger, keep them in the same metal. Where two different metals rub against each other every day, the softer one slowly wears away — a problem that takes years to show and is expensive to put right.

Wedding Band Materials
The fine metals and diamonds behind your band.
Metal

14k & 18k Gold

14k is harder and more scratch-resistant; 18k has the richer colour. Both are solid gold, hallmarked, never plated.

Metal

Platinum

Naturally white, hypoallergenic and exceptionally durable. Never needs replating — the strongest everyday choice.

Diamonds

Lab Grown Diamonds

IGI certified, and physically identical to mined diamonds — same carbon, same hardness, traceable origin.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the most durable wedding band material?

Platinum, followed closely by 14k gold. Both handle daily wear far better than 18k, which is softer because it contains more pure gold.

Can men wear diamond wedding bands?

Absolutely — men's diamond bands use flush or channel settings, so the diamonds sit level with the metal and survive daily use.

Should wedding bands match the engagement ring?

Not in style, but yes in metal if they are worn on the same finger. Different metals wear each other down over time.

Can wedding bands be resized later?

Most plain metal bands can. Full eternity and channel-set diamond bands generally cannot, because resizing would disturb the stones. See the ring size chart

Is platinum better than gold?

Neither is better. Platinum is denser, naturally white and never needs replating. Gold is lighter, warmer and comes in more tones.

Do wedding bands need to be insured?

We recommend it. Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects — it cannot cover loss, theft or accidental damage, which is what insurance is for.
