Buying it as a surprise?
Most engagement rings are bought without asking, so start here.
The most reliable method is to borrow a ring she already wears on that finger — the ring finger, not the index or middle, which run a size or two larger — and measure its inside diameter.
If you cannot borrow one, choose “help me choose” in the ring size list on the product page. We will contact you before crafting begins and talk it through.
A ring can be resized afterwards. A proposal cannot be repeated. If you are unsure, order slightly large rather than slightly small — a ring that will not pass the knuckle cannot be worn at all on the day.
Measuring her finger directly
Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimetres against a ruler. That is the circumference — enter it in the converter on the product page.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and never when hands are cold.
